I have attended similar sessions where people with learning disabilities and
their staff rehearse the problems and dilemma's of living in 'supported
living schemes' using the techniques of Augusto Boal's 'Theatre of the
Oppressed'.
I was very impressed with these sessions, which seem to have a method that is
empowering to the participants, congruent with social theories of disability,
and a lot of fun.
