Social and Cultural Geography are pleased to announce two new developments.
First, Michael Brown (University of Washington) has been appointed as the
new North American Editor. He is taking up the post with immediate effect.
Second, due to the volume of good quality manuscripts, SCG will be moving
to six issues a year from 2005.
SCG continues to publish PhD abstracts. If you have recently finished a
PhD in any aspect of social and cultural geography and want it to be
detailed in a future issue of SCG then please contact the editors at

SCG country reports have been a great success and we continue to seek
authors to compile reports on social and cultural geography from different
parts of the world. At present, Africa, South and Central America, the
Middle East, and Eastern Europe are under-represented. If you could advise
us on geographers located in countries on those continents who we could
approach to write reports we would be delighted to hear from you.
For details on the past and present contents of SCG and the guidelines for
authors, see http://www.tandf.co.uk/journals/titles/14649365.asp
best wishes,
Rob
