Nik, did suggest a number of additions and amendments which would be
useful and which I'll try and roll in in due course:
- proper error handling for dealing with XML parse errors
- extra scripts for moving new and updated records across from the
staging area DB into the main DB (with appropriate versioning /
archiving for updates)
- mechanism for defining which repository to harvest (from a list of
choices) [I'll probably use a Windows style configuration file to define
this information]
- script for handling record deletions (archiving that is..)
And so the feature creep begineth.. :)
