--> Of course it must be anticlockwise! Except in the Southern Hemisphere,
when it's anticlockwise... No, seriously, unless the creature's 2 jaws are
not at exactly the same position on either side of its body, there is no
reason to choose one director over another.
Another method (aided by a magnifying glass, but not mandatory) is to use a
normal needle and thread. This is a method used by backpackers, etc. who
would usually have a small clothing repair kit...
1. Take needle woth thread doubled through eye of needle as per usual.
2. Pass between jaws and cut off needle, leaving a pair of threads between
jaws
3. Grasp the two ends of the one thread with one hand and the two ends of
other thread with other hand.
4. Pull apart - tick somes off
