as Rowley pointed out with Vascular access as an example - if we were
talking about the States, Junior docs don't really get a look in , however
culturally the UK still sees vascular access as a 'Doctor's job' therefore
it is percieved , rightly or wrongly , that Doctors need to be expert in
this.
Genuine vs Percieved, need vs want is something which has to be looked at
very carefully.
