Since it looks like Brad has now built JNIAST native libs for a recent
version of AST and checked it in on the trunk, I've copied this
and made all the other required changes on the release (USSC219) branch.
Can someone with a Mac try building and testing this on OS X
(top-level ant test, plus run up treeview, splat see if they look OK).
