Hi Phil, Lorna, et al...
This reads really well- you guys have done a great job. I'll say it
again- best IMS doc I've ever read!
One small question:
There's a bit under 3. Vocabularies and Taxonomies which says:
"For further guidance on using taxonomies and vocabularies with the LOM
see the IMS LRM Best Practice and Implementation Guide v1.2.1 at
http://www.imsglobal.org/metadata/ and ..."
Why does it refer you to an earlier version of the guide rather than
putting the "further guidance" into this one? Looks like there's a lot
more detail in the old one... it's a bit of a faff moving between two
documents?
I'm sure there's an excellent reason... like "Couldn't be ***ed going
through all that vocabularies stuff again". I and no doubt many others
would understand this. ;-)
Eurghhh- this probably came up ages ago on this list when you were
working on the document and I just ignored the discussion... sorry if
I'm repeating anything.
