Salford Professional Doctorate (DProf). (programme is equivalent to PhD

The programme is designed for all health and social care professionals
working at a senior level, who have responsibility for the development of
evidence based professional practice and who are involved in the
modernisation agenda.
Programme delivery combines face to face discussion in small groups, with
the use of online learning. Masterclasses and workshops are organised
depending on students' learning needs.
Programme structure:
- modules, linked to personal and professional development
- practice development with practice related assignments and action plans
- research, completion of major research project related to professional
practice
Current students are drawn from physiotherapy, podiatry, occupational
therapy and nursing. We are now recruiting for the February 2005 intake.
