Hi,
In relation to this 32-bit address space, it there any development of an OX
version for 64-bit AMD extensions? This should give the matrix a much higher
upper limit, no? Also, Is there somewhere some benchmarking info for OX on
different hardware/OS ?

The upper limit is determined by the amount of memory available and the
limitations of the 32-bit address space (about 250 million matrix elements
taking about 2 Gigabytes of memory).
Usually the available memory is the active constraint. This can be increased
by installing more memory, or increasing the size of virtual memory (this is
used automatically when physical memory runs out). Note, however, that using
virtual memory is very, very slow. Under Windows you can see in the
taskmanager how much memory is being used, but virtual memory usage you can
often just hear from the sudden increase in harddisk activity.
