I found that I also needed to make some symbolic links --
if you look at oxl.bin and oxl.3.3.2.dylib you'll see that there are
hard-coded references to /usr/local/lib/ox-3.30/bin/oxl.3.dylib.
I seem to remember that I had to create these files as symbolic links
to my
install directory.
It is also necessary to exit "oxl" which is a shell script that runs
oxl.bin. This is where you modify the environment variables such as
DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH, and oxl needs to be executable and in the path, do a
"chmod +x oxl".
