medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear Andre-Yves,
According to the "Santi Beati" website's brief entry for this Alda
http://www.santiebeati.it/search/jump.cgi?ID=74350
she is commemorated on 18 _October_ and to be identificatied with Aldegonda of Maubeuge, whose translation is celebrated on that day.
The same entry associates this date with an entry for Alda in the Proprium of Meaux, cited as "[il] Proprio di Meaux (1854)". Is that a reference to Longperier-Grimoard's _Les eveques de Meaux_ (Paris: Dumoulin, 1854)?
Best,
John Dillon
