Hi Dennis,
thanks for the reply - the East Anglian hundred houses and the post-1834
union workhouses are all fairly well documented, at least as far as location
is concerned. I'm on the trail of locations the earlier parish workhouses
some of which indeed continued to be used for a time by new Poor Law Unions.
Information on these is much more patchy.
By the way, the Depwade Union workhouse at Pulham Market you mentioned was
the "Beadle" hotel for a while but I think is now private housing.
