Is this something ALGAO should be doing? I would have though that the
CBA and the IFA were more appropriate, unless it is a way of keeping Bob
Croft off the TV; then I approve!

Friday afternoon, we seem to have run out of steam on Wetlands GIS, so
can I
float a new one to use up those last languid minutes.
Having enjoyed the media session at IFA, I have been talking to
colleagues
about potential benefits on both sides of an ALGAO code of practice
for
media and archaeological bodies.
The response so far is to the effect of `how have we managed without
one',
but also `it will be tough negotiating the intellectual property
issue,
because the media don't understand the concept of public information'.
Any `Friday-ish' thoughts welcome. - Brian
