Associates (IMPALLA) : CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

Relying on the best expertise available in a network of universities, the
"Centre d’Etudes de Populations, de Pauvreté et de Politiques
Socio-Economiques - International Networks for Studies in Technology,
Environment, Alternatives, Development" (CEPS/INSTEAD, Grand-Duchy of
Luxembourg) has launched on the 19th of August 2002 the IMPALLA program.
With the Universities of Leuven (K.U. Leuven, Belgium), Nancy (Nancy II,
France) and Tilburg (The Netherlands), as its key partners, CEPS/INSTEAD is
now preparing the academic year 2004-2005 of IMPALLA which is planned to
start on September 1st, 2004.
The training environment is specially conceived in order to comply with the
highest educational, methodological and cultural standards. The programme
involves the following topics : Social Policy, Policy Cycle, Social
Problems and Reforms, Comparative and International Socio-economic Policy,
Auditing, Statistics for Policy Analysis and Advanced Research Methodology.
The number of students is limited to 24 (15 countries represented in
2003-2004).
A few GRANTS, covering ordinary personal expenses (living costs,
accommodation and registration fee) are still available.
