Apologies for cross-posting
I am assisting one of our nursing tutors in a research project to identify
resources to support the teaching of clinical skills to pre-reg. nursing
students. The tutor is ideally looking for interactive software or web
sites, but would also be interested in videos or anything else in this area.
The skills include nursing observations (temperature, pulse,
blood-pressure); communication skills; behavioural skills (ie. observing
people's behaviour) and clinical skills (eg. wound care, injections,
intravenous infusions).
Does anyone know of any such resources and/or possible suppliers?
Do you know anyone who has developed and used such resources with nursing or
medical students, who could be contacted for further information?
Please reply directly to me. If you are interested in the information I
receive, please get in touch and I will pass it on.
Thanks very much,
Liz Mailer
