2.1 ALT Conference Publications Editor

The ALT Conference Publications Portfolio currently includes the ALT-
C Abstracts Book and Research Proceedings, and is being expanded to
produce, where possible, an annual practitioner-oriented publication
related to the ALT Spring Conference. ALT has recently moved to in-
house management of ALT-C, offering opportunities for redesign of the
conference portfolio, including related material and documents that
are presented to delegates as part of the conference pack and
orientation.

An ALT Conference Publications Editor is sought to work with the
Conference and Research Publications Teams, and the Occasional
Publications Editor, on the management of this portfolio. This will
include specific liaison regarding the conference handbook, and
working with the ALT-C Editors for Abstracts and the Editor for
Research proceedings to 'sub-edit' in the ALT house style.

For more information about this voluntary, but exciting new position
please contact Dr Jane Seale, Chair of ALT Publications committee, on
[log in to unmask] or Tel: 02380 594784.

*    Reporting
*    Innovation in CAA
* Assessing skills and enhancing student learning
*    Strategic developments

Please send your submissions directly to the deputy editor, Dr Jane
Seale: [log in to unmask]
