simple terms I believe, is don't do it from behind, just normal frontal way,
(forgot to state the obvious)
the jaw thrust from the rear, should not be taught

what technique is being suggested - in terms of hand positioning
is it a 'pincer like' movement with the thumbs on the jaw and the index
finger on the cheek ?
what are the suggestions for alternative techniques ?
