Surrey Police Deepcut Investigation Final Report
Description: This web site provides access to the full text of the report by Surrey Police force which was published in March 2004. It investigated the deaths and subsequent investigations of four young army recruits at deepcut barracks. It calls for a wider enquiry into why young recruits to the British army are particularly vulnerable to self-harm and suicide. Users should note that the full text is in pdf format and therefore requires access to an Adobe Acrobat Reader for use.

Description: This is an official web site of the US government. It provides access to Department of Defense information about individuals held in detention at Guantanamo Bay (Camp X- Ray), Cuba as suspected terrorists as part of the war against terrorism. It includes access to fact sheets on the prison and the nature of their detention as well as recent press releases and photographs relating to them.

They seek to promote peaceful resolution of conflicts worldwide. The web site provides access to information on the aims of the body and its current activities. It includes access to recent newsletters and some full text working papers. These include economic analyses of specific conflicts, the economic cost of terrorism, the economics of the Iraq war 2003 and the war against terrorism and critical discussion of US defence and foreign policy economics.

Asia-Pacific Center For Security Studies
Description: The Asia-Pacific Center For Security Studies (APSS) is based in Hawaii. It is an independent research institute which specialises in the study of security in the Asia- Pacific region and US foreign policy towards nations in the Asia. Its web site provides information on the aims of the centre and its current activities. It includes free access to some of its working papers, reports and newsletters. These cover regional security in the post- 99/11 era. Nations covered include: Indonesia, China, Japan, North Korea, Iraq and Taiwan. National Transitional Government of Liberia: Joint Needs Assessment 2004
: This site provides access to a report conducted by the United Nations, World Bank and IMF and published in February 2004. It provides an assessment of the economic, social and political structure of Liberia in the aftermath of its civil war and its needs for future democratic and economic reconstruction.
