Hi all,
A couple of seminars are coming up in the next little while for those of you
based near Liverpool.
The first of the 2004 series of the Interdisciplinary Research Group on
Social Surveillance seminars will be held in the Dean Walters Building of
Liverpool John Moores University (domed mock Georgian building by the
Anglican Cathedral) this coming Wednesday, March 10, at 4pm.
Dr Alice Ferrebe (JMU) will be speaking on 'The Gaze of the Magus:
Sexual/Scopic Politics in the Novels of John Fowles', from 4pm in Room 301
The current room is at the top of the spiral staircase due to limited
accommodation. However, if anyone would like to come who has mobility
difficulties, do let me know and we can try to change the room. For more
information about the series, contact Nicole Matthews on 231 5045 or
