What do you mean by "qualitative coding"? I trust you want to assign codes
to your data while examining them in a "pedestrian way"
("hermeneutically"), as you would do, for example, in Grounded Theory. For
that, all CAQDAS are suited. Unlike most other CAQDAS, QDA Miner does not
seem to have an "Invivo" coding function, so that might make coding more
cumbersome, if you expect a lot of different codes arising from your data.
The progams have also different ways, how you can organize codes, so you
might want to check, what suits you best. QDA Miner AFAIS allows only for a
fairly flat code hierachy, other programs offer more sophisticated coding
trees.

This sentence actually does not clarify your methodology, only your goals.

QDA Miner does not explore relationships; neither does any other CAQDAS.
You will need to come up with some hypotheses about these relationships,
then select the methodology, with which to analyze these relationships, and
then you can decide, which of the programs can assist you best in that
analysis.

Good question, I was sloppy in my terminology. I meant with autocoding the
automatic coding of certain data patterns (such as words, strings, etc.).
