It was set on "uniform in pixels", but if I switch to one of the scaled
options then the particular peak is indeed tiny and I can now select it
every time. Switching between the options it seems as though it's one of
the scaled representations (couldn't work out which one) that determines
where a peak can be selected irrespective of the way it's being displayed.
It's not 100% clear to me what determines the scaling - height, volume or
some sort of combination?
