Hello
I was wondering if someone could give me some pointers on the following
query:
It relates to Commission Regulation (EC) No 1624/97 of 13 August 1997
amending Annex I to Council Regulation (EEC) No 2658/87 on the tariff and
statistical nomenclature and on the Common Customs Tariff.
This regulation effectively inserts an 'additional note' into Chapter 42 of
the Tariff. The text which it inserts is still in the most uptodate version
of the Tariff but on Eur-lex is states that the Regulation is 'no longer in
force'
I'm assuming that the Regulation was made for the purposes of inserting text
and that once this is done that the Regulation becomes void but is there
something in the Treaty that explains this process? Or could it be that
Eur-lex is incorrect?
I would be grateful for any assistance on this!
regards
