This is going to be a truly global conference sponsored by the Tobin College
of Business, St. John's University; the Faculty of Social Development
Studies & Faculty of Economic Sciences, Tshwane University of Technology,
Pretoria, South Africa; the Robins School of Business, University of
Richmond, Virginia; Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, Portugal; Russian
Academy of Sciences and the State University of Management, Moscow.
The deadline for submission of proposals is March 15, 2004. However, we
accommodate submitters by having a double-blind rolling review of proposals.
If you would like a prompt response we would appreciate your including in
your cover letter: "Prompt decision for this submission would be
appreciated." Full papers received by May 1, 2004, will be included in an
associated volume of readings that we are preparing and that will be

GBATA has had successful meetings for several years now including great
