and more.These are taught using multimedia ( an Introduction to Multimedia
course is available at Richmond College on Thursdays)Lectures on
Video,audio,text Powerpoint (Powerpoint we also run at Richmond College).
The tools used by students on line are mainly : First Class and
website.,practical tasks directly relevan to personal needs and a critical,
reflective approach throughout.
The assessment is via projects or portfolio and a 4000 word essay prepared
by reflective dily writings for the course.
Who is it for?
The certificate has been offered annually to academics, trainers, and other
Higher and Further education staff world wide since 1992 and has been
constantly updated.This year there about 150 people on the course
worldwide.For the 4 week UK version the Institute of Education accepts 25
participants.( We prepare people in smaller groups at Richmond as part of
the Professional Development Award and this takes place every Thursday
evening 6-9pm in our Merits conference ICT centre).
