Announcing Inaugural Issue of the Review of Disability Studies
The Center on Disability Studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa
is pleased to announce the publication of the Inaugural Issue of the
Review of Disability Studies: An International Journal (RDS). The
Inaugural Issue is a special double issue dedicated to the journal’s
founding editor, the late Dr. David Pfeiffer. The Inaugural Issue
includes a tribute to Dr. Pfeiffer from many of his friends and
colleagues, as well as a forum on “Disability Culture: A Decade of
Change”. The Inaugural Issue can be found online in an accessible PDF
format at www.rds.hawaii.edu . Note that a subscription before March
1, 2004 is necessary in order to receive a print copy of the Inaugural
Issue.
RDS is a quarterly publication available in both online and print (or
alternative format) versions. Subscriptions are $50.00 (U.S.) for
individuals, $100.00 for institutions, and $25.00 for students with a
$15.00 charge for international first class mailing outside the U.S.
and Canada. The Inaugural Issue and the Spring, 2004 Issue of RDS
will
be available for free online, however, a subscription will be
necessary
to access both online and print versions of the journal starting with
the Summer, 2004 Issue. To subscribe or for more information about
