PixelRaiders 2 is an international conference that explores the
issues, discourse and reflective practice at the heart of digital creativity.
This conference explores how digital practices are being integrated
into and are evolving from making processes, within the applied,
visual, performance arts, design, and media production.
Practitioners, academics, curators and researchers from throughout
the world will present 50 refereed papers. The diverse issues explored
are themed in parallel tracks to provide a rich and engaging choice
for participants.

The selected invited speakers are experts on the
conference’s core issues and will provide presentations, including case
studies, provoking lively discussion and providing insight for extending
creative practice and theoretical inquiry.

Keynote In Brief:
Malcolm McCullough - University of Michigan, USA
A pioneer of CAD in architecture in the 1980s, McCullough has consistently
brought a human-centred approach to emerging practices in design. His
latest book, ‘Digital Ground’, connects the fields of architecture and
interaction
design, and offers a theory of place for pervasive computing. His 1996 book
‘Abstracting Craft, The Practiced Digital Hand’ published by MIT Press, found
an interdisciplinary audience for the creative work practices behind the
digital
economy.
