If you look up C.Barnes, Tom Shakespeare, M,Oliver, J Morris, M. Rioux,
They all write about researcher & disability, therein they infer to what you
are looking for.All of these writers are of an earlier generation, but most
of what they say is still applicable. You may want to make connection with
other element of pedagogy.
