Youth with disabilities have something to say and something to
Show us. The Poster Child Shoots Back is a community-based video
project involving youth with disabilities. Over the past year, the
youth produced short videos about living with a disability, day-to-day
life, relationships and transitions. The project and video screening is
the first of its kind in Toronto, and is an exciting chance for those
with a without disabilities to come together and look at the lives of
youth with disabilities through
their own eyes.
The Video Launch will take place on Saturday, March 6, 2004 from 7 ?
10
p.m. at Ryerson University, 380 Victoria St. (at Gerrard) in the Olive
Baker
Lounge. We will be screening ten short works produced through the
project,
followed by a brief panel discussion and reception.
