Dear Friends and Colleagues,
The end of this week marks the completion of Capacity Building Sessions
for DPI’s Caribbean/North America Region. Representatives of all 14
countries in the region gathered in Antigua from January 12 – 16, 2004.
To mark the end of the sessions, a new Regional website has been
posted. It will be used to keep everyone up to date on the activities
and structure of the Caribbean/North America Region. Please visit the
new website at http://www.dpi.org/caribbean, and watch out for
information on the upcoming Capacity Building Sessions for the European
Region in March 2004.
Daily summaries of the Working Group meetings in New York have been
posted every day this week. Keep yourself informed on the latest
progress towards a UN Convention on the Rights of People with
Disabilities! Read the summaries at:

Les Sessions de Bâtiment de Capacité pour la Région du Caraïbe et
l’Amérique du Nord de l’OMPH sont fini aujourd’hui. Des représentants
venant de chacun des 14 pays dans la région se sont réunis du 12 au 16
janvier 2004 en Antigua. Pour souligner la fin des sessions, un site
Web régional a été publié. Le site sera utiliser pour distribuer
l’information courante au sujet des activités et de la structure de la
Région du Caraïbe et l’Amérique du Nord. Veuillez visiter le nouveau

des nouvelles durant les semaines prochaines au sujet des Sessions de
