LECTURESHIP IN GEOGRAPHY
Royal Holloway, University of London
Applications are invited for a newly-established lectureship in geography.
We would welcome candidates with research strengths in one or more of the
following areas: globalisation and sustainability; resource use and
management; geopolitics, governance and environmentalism. Candidates will
need to be aware of current policy developments, particularly in relation to
urban issues and probably at the UK and EU scales, and should be able to
convey understanding of the scientific nature of environmental change in the
context of social, political and technological relationships.
The salary for this full time post is in the range of £25,451 to £33,679 per
annum (pay award pending) on the Lecturer A/B scale for Academic staff.
London Allowance of £2,134 per annum is payable in addition to salary.
Applications should be made by 6th February 2004. It is expected that
interviews will be held on 10th March 2004.
