For all PhD and research masters students...
The Postgraduate Forum conference is nearly with us, please go to
www.gg.rhul.ac.uk/pgf for more information and to register by the 2nd
February!
The conference is an opportunity for research postgraduates, at any stage
in their work, to present a paper or poster in a friendly and informal
environment. It is also an occasion for students who may not wish to
present their own work to meet fellow researchers. We are particularly keen
to encourage those students who may be at an early stage in their research
to attend: the conference will be an excellent forum for getting feedback,
exchanging ideas and meeting other postgraduate students.
We welcome papers or posters from any Geography-related subject including:
cultural, social, political, economic and the sub-disciplines of physical
geography. Presentations will be arranged into themed sessions (based on
submitted abstracts) that will run throughout the day and posters will be
displayed during the lunch period for viewing by all attendees of the
conference. Staff members from Royal Holloway's Geography Department will
be present on the day to offer additional comments and advice on paper
presentations and poster displays.
