(with apologies for cross posting)
I thought members might be interested in this new course, developed by Bournemouth University in collaboration with EH and the IFA in response to a growing awareness of the need for an oral dimension in an archaeology of the recent. The course will run in 2004 as two three day blocks. It is taught by a Sociologist and an Archaeologist who have a wide range of research and consultancy experience in the application of oral history to an understanding of recent material culture. The cost will be £300 for the course, with assessment and credit, and £200 without. This does not include accommodation, two nights of which would be required for each block.
I was unable to circulate the flyer for this course by email to the CHAT Britarch list, but you can obtain more information - including an application form - from:

Hope this is of interest.
