Everyone seems to be reminding us of calls for papers this week! ;-)
The following conference includes metadata & interoperability, and
digital libraries, so may be of interest to some people on this list.
Best wishes
Sarah

Dear specialists and professionals in electronic publishing,
On behalf of the Organising committee, I have the pleasure inviting you to
participate as a contributor to the 8th ELPUB conference that will be hosted
in June 2004 by the Department of Information Science at the University of
Brasilia (West-central Brazil).
This 8th ELPUB conference will keep the tradition of previous ELPUB
conferences, which is to bring together researchers, developers, users and
all those interested on issues regarding electronic publishing in widely
differing contexts.
Conference themes include the human, cultural, economic, social, scientific,
technological, legal, commercial and other relevant aspects of Electronic
Publishing. Elpub 2004 offers also a variety of activities, such as
workshops, tutorials, panel debates etc. Details can be found on the above
mentioned website.
A first call for papers was sent out some time ago, but it might not have
reached you.
But now has come the moment I would like you to take a few minutes to
consider submitting a paper, a tutorial theme, a poster or a demonstration.
The deadline for abstracts, that have to be introduced electronically via a
conference website submission page, has been fixed on January 31, 2004.
The 2nd call for papers with all details has been attached to this email.
If for any reason this attachment is not accessible or not present anymore,
you will find it also at:
