If you are not seeing much then the CE is problably getting a dhcp
address allocated from the existing DHCP server.
You should see it boot, get an ip address, mount an nfs root partition
and run a script.
When it boots the ip address it obtains if it gets one will appears
in the console messages, is it the correct one for your CE?
You can use an existing DHCP server on the network but you will have
to get into it and change some options to hardwire mac addresses to ip
address and an extra option to allow the host to locate your LCFG server.
Oxford and RAL-PP both use Windows DHCPD servers.
