I am writing up a Neo chambered cairn, which contains some non-athropogenic fox
but a few bits that look secure. One of which is a fox jaw - now the
archeologists reading this want to know if a jaw could indicate a pelt?
My view is maybe/maybe not....any improvement on my fence sitting? I am good
for dog/bear toes and pelts, also for head and hooves and skins....but just a
jaw? I have jaws from other species at other sites e.g. a pair of badger jaws
that I suggested may be associated with skins.
A light enquiry for the longest day.
