Please note that the deadline for submission of abstracts for the 2004
Mountain Interstate Foreign Language Conference, scheduled for October
14-16, 2004, at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, has been extended to
March 31, 2004.
We seek submissions dealing with any aspect of literature, culture,
language, and pedagogy, and we welcome papers that focus on
interdisciplinary work. You may also submit proposals for special sessions.
The website for the Call for Papers is http://www.miflc.org/call.html , and
it would be great if many of you would consider sending us an abstract
and/or proposals for seesions. In case you plan to submit a proposal for a
session, you need to send us abstracts for all the papers that should be
included in this sessions along with the contact information for each
presenter.

e-mail but we will also accept submissions that are sent to us by fax or
