Post-doc position : "Multiagent modelling of transport - land use
interaction in urban areas"
Dear Colleagues,
We have a 2 year post-doc position starting September 2004 at
Laboratoire d'Economie des Transports (LET) in Lyon. The idea is to
use multiagent modelling to understand and simulate transport and
land-use interaction within cities. The successful candidate will
work in a team composed of economists and physicists. Given the
interdisciplinary character of our topic, there are two possible
profiles for this post-doc position. First, a doctor from the social
sciences with a strong experience in multiagent modelling.
Alternatively, we look for a statistical physicist having already
dealt with social systems, preferably in geography or economics.
Since this field is very active worldwide, we strongly encourage
foreign candidates.
This post-doc position is given by the CNRS : it starts September
2004, the salary will be 2150 euros/month (around 1700 + social
security coverage), a PhD is required, limit age is 40 and the limit
day for candidating is May 14th.
