LECTURER IN TRANSPORT, SCHOOL OF THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT

This lectureship in transport will shortly be advertised in the national
press. The post is in the School of the Built Environment at Napier
University, and part of Transport Research Institute, rated 4 in RAE 2001.
Applicants should have a good first degree in a relevant subject, with a
postgraduate degree in transport and experience of research. He/she will be
expected to demonstrate effective team working and organisational skills.
Skills and experience may be in any area of transport, but applicants with
the ability to teach in some of the following areas are particularly
welcome: transport economics, freight & logistics, transport and land-use
planning and policy.
Although it would be preferable for applicants to have previous experience
of teaching transport-related subjects at University level, this is not
essential.
