The VMSs on the M4 in Wales also tell the time, or say (in English and
Welsh) when the next big Rugby match at Cardiff is.

The signs in London spring to mind. There are a number of 5 or 6 line
text displays on major routes into London, such as the A4 and A40,
which sometimes give information on a big event happening in London if
there is no traffic news to report. However, this is probably only of
use on a low-ish speed urban route into a city centre.
