Integrated Transport System. Also called " InTranSys" so as not to be
confused with "Intelligent Transport Systems.

Subject: Re: [NewMobilityCafe] Project IT rethinking transport
Yes rethinking Transport has the ability to end poverty. The designs I have
seen show the ability to carry out transport with out any realitive energy
or resource consumption.
Care to imagine what impacts removing those cost from transport means?
What economic difference would it make in determining the cost of goods and
services?
I suspect it would at minimum remove 1/2 the cost of producing goods and
services. More likely about 70% could be removed over all because of the
larger efficiencies of achieving automated processes.
Removing transports energy and resource consumptions is only one of the many
benefits.
The clear and precise ability to end accidents is no small benefit. Here in
the US we spend trwice as much on accidents every year as we do on highways.
Deaths and horrible injuries that simply do not need to be.
Activities who presently consume an enormous amount of energy and resources.
Consumptions when removed and then then made all that more available toward
more deserving pursuits.
The difference it will make in freeing these huge amounts of energy and
resources is awesome.
Ending poverty means to me making available the necessary energy and
resources that population needs to achieve a modern like level of
well-being. The adequate availability of food, water, shelter, education and
healthcare. All the human population could achieve these things merely
through modernizing transport into that extremely more efficient process it
clearly can be.
What say you? I am not sure any one is interested or listening?
