The British Optical Association Museum has unveiled its first mini temporary
exhibition of the year: 'Modelling the Eye' featuring didactic models and
retinoscopy practice eyes which have been interpreted in a context of the
greater understanding of ocular anatomy that was achieved through the
microscopic inspection of human and insect eyes.
The temporary exhibition programme has been made possible by the donation of
four display cases by the Royal College of Surgeons of England, so three
more mini exhibitions will follow shortly, including one on contact lenses.
