1. Only two days remain for GGF12 registration at a reduced rate. After
midnight, 10 September, fees will be increased to the "on-site"

3. CIM Orientation
GGF and DMTF are establishing closer working relationships at both the
management and technical levels. One initiative to enhance our
collaboration at the technical level is the offering of a free orientation
to the Common Information Model (CIM) on Monday, September 20, from
9:00am-5:00pm at Vrije University. This orientation will show the
significance of CIM, why it so important to the grid community, how it is
coded, and how it fits with OGSA. For more information, visit

5. Case Studies
Immediately following the final keynote and lunch on Tuesday, GGF will
offer four 90-minute case studies highlighting consumer grid deployments.
These will be presented at the Crowne Plaza hotel and a fee of $35 will
enable you to visit any or all of these four studies (though two are
offered in parallel with the other two).
