Announcements for the Global Grid Forum
1. GGF11 Plenary Program, 6-9 June, 2004 in Honolulu, Hawaii
2. GGF11 Workshops and Tutorials (6 June and 10 June)
3. HPDC-13 4-5 June, 2004; held in conjunction with GGF11
4. New BOF mail lists available
5. Nomcom accepting nominations until 16 May.

1. The next GGF plenary event (GGF11) will be held on 6-9 June in
Honolulu, Hawaii. This event will be held in conjunction with HPDC-13
(see #3 below) which starts on 4 June. The theme for this year's
plenary is "The Enterprise Grid". Advanced registration will open on 20
April and a draft program will be available on the GGF website
(http://www.ggf.org) later this month.
2. On 6 June and 10 June, GGF11 and HPDC-13 will feature a broad
offering of tutorials and workshops. You can help finalize the tutorials
offered by filling out the GGF11 Tutorial survey accessible from the GGF
front page (http://www.ggf.org). Please visit the site and give us your
feedback today. Five workshops will be offered including Semantic Grid;
Production Grid Management; Enterprise Grid Solutions and Deployment;
Building Service-based Grids; and Social Factors, Humanities, Arts and
Social Sciences.
3. The Thirteenth IEEE International Symposium on High-Performance
Distributed Computing (HPDC-13) will be a forum for presenting the
latest research findings on the design and use of highly networked
systems for computing, collaboration, data analysis, and other
innovative tasks. HPDC-13 will be held in conjunction with GGF11 in
Honolulu, Hawaii, on 4-6 June, 2004. John Reynders from Celerea and
Monica Lam from Stanford University will be this year's featured keynote

4. Since the Berlin meeting (GGF10), the following BOF mail lists have
been created. These lists are used to gain a broader involvement from
the grid community.
