Hi,
The mystery invertebrate belongs to the Octocorallia
(it is a retracted sea-pen). Although most of the
polyps are retracted, some of them have their
tentacles extended: you can clearly count the eight
tentacles per polyp, when zooming in on the polyps on
the top left side of the colony.
