let's start the new year with something to cheer up...
the best I have seen so far of public access promotion material is the
rural transport partnership built by Chris Wood of the royal society
for the protection of birds, in conjunction with the national trust
and the countryside agency
there is a substantial collection of leaflets for all the main sites
in his region of which an example is
http://www.rspb.org.uk/Images/tichwell%20by%20public%20transport_tcm5-48286.pdf
interestingly the leaflets as paper objects were prepared last year..
the 2004 ones requiring some changes but I had n't seen them
anywhere.. I visit TICs, libraries etc fairly frequently collecting
the stuff... so the problem with the leaflet format is you have to be
where it is to know about it
I saw a write up on these in the Ramblers' magazine
having nearly 50 leaflets tho simply adds to the document management
problem :).. along with the time to visit the sites of which he is
justly proud
but this is the best so far :) (imho)
