Hi Sonja
I sent out a questionnaire to various mailing lists last year - it was
aimed at people who use machine translation systems, as I wanted to find
out how often different text types were translated, which language pairs
etc.
I basically inserted the questionnaire into my email - so I had a
paragraph of introduction at the beginning (to try to raise some
interest - and stating that the questionnaire only contained 4 questions!)
- then the questions followed. So, although it wasn't fancy, it was
practical, and I was happy with the number and quality of responses. I
think it's also a good idea (if you can) to put perhaps a prettier version
on a website, which you can also advertise. I intend to do this - but - as
is often the case - haven't got round to it yet!
All the best
Debbie
