Hi grasshopper,
A fun read! But maybe a slight read more than a light read. (But, don't
worry too much, I feel like this almost every time I pick up bitch-and-moan
Betjeman!). I've read it a couple of times but the second time I read it
wasn't as good as the first.
I noticed what I may call its faults all the more - Deliver-less, no show
(which sounds odd, isn't quite english...) and press-packed cycle is, again,
where I know what you're wanting to say - but feel you ain't properly saying
it.
When I think of Faure I only think of the music I've got of his - the Requim
- so I find I'm left with both you and the lad musing on religion instead of
handling the weight of the world! Interesting...
