AOL has been implementing a policy for some time, where, if they have a
complaint about a certain email address sending spam, they will block all
emails with the same area code, whether these addresses have been sending
spam or not.
The emails are often bounced back, with an instruction for the sender to get
their ISP to deal with it. The sender has no redress - they just direct you
to a page on their website which says it is regrettable that innocent
senders suffer, but it is their anti-spam policy ---in other words, hard
cheese, because AOL don't care.
AOL, huh!
Kind regards,
grasshopper
