Writer's Hood is back.
Lost due to server and other problems. Hopefully healed at
www.writershood.com.
All the poems submitted for the Auden Hyperpoem contest are on the web at
http://hoodhyper.homestead.com/front.html. Check them out. We now have
three hyperpoems up and are still taking submissions for all of them.
Our featured poet is Philip Johnson, a diary poet - that is Philip writes of
his day, what he sees and does, one or two a day as a recording of his life.
Diary poetry is a good way to practice, to test the muse. After all, like
runners, writers should stretch their muscles every day.
Our regular offerings include Louie overhearing, Carol's Deceit, Kathy's
skinny, Christopher's daydreams, Cindy's Billy Graham haiku, Cyrus's chair,
Queenie's Broken Girl, Keli's night walk, Len's answer to Marlowe, Don's
home, and Deborah's trailhead.
And put it together for the Poem of the Month - Eastie Morgan's Nietzsche's
Lover (and trust me that choice becomes more difficult each month).
This is my next to last issue - moving on to MindFire renewed.
Enjoy.
