Peanuts have an obsessiveness in the US that salt had for the French
Revolution. This is a manifestation, and a very good one Gary.

James, thanks. On this side of the pond, PB is one of the foods that define
us, depending on how we lived as children. I hate tons - with jam, jelly
and dill pickles.

For Proust it was the madeleine dissolving on his tonge that recalled
:"..les temps Perdu", for you it's peanut butter.
My favourite poems to read and write are about the recollection of
childhood -there was the untramelled joy of living. There is something quite
sensuous and slightly gluttonous about the cornucopia of goodies spilled
here, Gary.
Arthur, thanks much. Humbled.

Great poem Garbro...maybe too much history toward the end. I love the mix
of
Jazz greats, George Washington Carver and peanut butter entres.

Sis, maybe, but I tried to keep it short and put in a bit of a surprise, no
one has mentioned yet.
Smiles.
